Term 3 Reflections (Bad / Good):

Highlights of the term:

For me this term has been a successful term in class and also when it come to sports. In the classroom I have very committed in my learning so that it can help me in the future. My first highlight of this term is the sports and the technology that we have at Pt England School. My second highlight of this term is how all the sport teams have been very successful in Netball, basketball, rugby and many more sport. My reflections about my highlights have come to an end and I hope you enjoyed reading about my highlights.

Funny moments:

All I remember was when Peteli got snapped by Mrs Tele’a playing Deluge which is a game that is related to Pokemon. When Mrs Tele’a snapped Peteli he got stood up and had to hold Mrs Tele’a arm and walk around the team 5 block, when petel while he was walking he felt embarrassed. After a while he got sent back to class and told Mrs Tele’a that he would never be dogey again, But the funny thing was that Peteli got snapped again the next day playing the same game.

Memories:

My coolest moment at school was 2014 when me our team went to the eastern zone tournament for rugby in year 6 and 5. All I remember was Pt England vs Tamaki Primary in the final. I remember when Taimana kicked the ball across the field and Sateki dived like superman and scored the winning trie.

Olympic narrative

“Oooooh and off goes the reigning champion Bolt with a very slow start”. Finally he has caught up to Justin Gatlin from behind. As Bolt caught up to Gatlin the race was unpredictable. Can Justin Gatlin finally beat Usain Bolt for the 2nd time in his running career?

Bolt looks he is gonna lose the 100m sprint in the 2012 London Olympics. Although Bolt is known as the fastest man in the world, Maybe in 2012 Olympics he can get proven that he is not the only fastest man in the world. As the race is going all the athletes are starting to give up, Now it is just Gatlin and Bolt.

They were coming down to the last 50m and Gatlin is still in the the lead.40m to go and every athlete is gonna use all their energy, 30m to go and Bolt is just losing. “ Ooh an out of nowhere Bolt is now in the lead with 20m left of the track. The reigning champion is back in the lead!!!. As bolt is running he can hear his coach Glen Mills shouting on the side saying “ Come on Bolt lets make your family and your country proud by bringing home a gold medal”.

Bolt is only 10m away from that nice and shiny gold medal but the other athletes have already given up.Usain bolt is already celebrating before he has finished his race in the 2012 olympics. Usain Bolt Has won his 2nd Gold medal of the 100m sprint. The Jamaican athlete has proved to the world that  He is  the fastest man in the WORLD!!!.

Swimming With Sharks

Swimming with sharks is dangerous.   A teenage girl from the village of Mo'unga'one would not agree.   This week we read a story that related to a  legend.  The legend meant people from a village could swim with sharks and be safe.

We had to think about the different characters and why they responded the way they did.   I had to put myself in their shoes to see how they felt.   

I've learned that legends can sometimes give people confidence and also make them feel safe where some people would feel scared and in danger.

Chicken Flavoured Worms

WALT:write a detailed introduction with hook and orientation.

Have you ever tasted chicken flavoured worms before?

Sounds super weird, but that is what our teacher Mr Goodwin got us to do today. let me explain the strangest day of my life.

For this work we had to do an introduction but not a normal we had to write 3 sentences and the first one was a Question. Then a complex sentences. And last of A short sentences but a hook.
