For this task we had to do conjunctions which connects to sentences and gives the reader more infamation.
- We went home and went straight to bed.
- They are rich but they aren’t happy.
- We went home because we were tired.
- We went home early, so we missed the end of the concert.
- We went home when Jane wanted to.
- We went home before the concert ended.
- We went home after Max Jones had sung his first song.
- We went home although / though we did not really want to.
- We will go home if we are tired.
Gene can go to school if it is sunny now
Lena has a sore foot while playing soccer
Katarina won't be going to the movies only if she cleans her room
Sione can ride his bike unless he does his dishes
Sally climbed a tree but her mum told her not too
Kyle walked home from school since his mum never picked him up
Simon was full from dinner after eating a lot of food
Anna watched her sister while sleeping
Scott was in charge of baby sitting

ReplyDeleteI love the way you expressed your learning with us on your incredible blog. I can see how much effort you have put in your work, about "how Conjunction words are used in sentences". This has given me so much information and things that I didn't even know about until now, honestly I didn't know that "because, when and of" are conjunction connective words. Because we were doing a similar thing for our literacy task as well!
